• Quiet place to go where a conversation can be had in a low voice over good food.
• All good experience so far.

“Great small town place to eat, like eating mom's cooking. This is the place. Ate at the Varsity Grille when original owner was running the kitchen with her daughters, was good back then and is good now. It was good to see that the Grille continues to operate after the original owner retired, new owner is friendly and experienced in delivering the goods!”

• I never have to order from here again!
• Raw pizza, rotten toppings, terrible rude service, and no refund.

“I worked at a Pizza shop for 4 years while attaining my under-graduation. I have never experienced such disdain towards an unsatisfied customer. Unsatisfied doesn't even begin to describe the nightmare experience my family had with Monte Cello's of Zelienople/Harmony. My family had a pizza delivered that was almost totally raw throughout, with 1/4 of the pie not covered with cheese or sauce. We called the shop back, were very polite, only to be questioned and argued with for 15 minutes. Finally, the manager agreed to send another pizza out. When the delivery driver came the second time, he looked at the first pizza and said, there is nothing wrong with this. When we pulled the pizza apart to show the obviously raw dough we asked, "what are we supposed to do with this?" His reply was, "eat it." My family and I were beside ourselves at his attitude and remarks. When we got the second pizza in the house, we were sure to inspect it, given the attitude of the manager with whom we spoke earlier. Upon inspection we noticed a rotten mushroom with large black spots. As we continued, we only found more. At this point we were upset. We called the shop back again and spoke to the same manager. I didn't want another pizza or credit; all I wanted was to speak with the owner. The manager said that he would be in the next day, but that it didn't matter. When I called the owner the next day he said that, "your story is suspect." He stated that he personally makes every Sicilian pizza shell, and it is therefore, impossible that one of them could not have been cooked perfectly. I didn't know there were perfect people. He also said that their toppings come in fresh daily, and that, it is impossible that we could have gotten rotten toppings. Anyone who has ever worked at a restaurant knows all product does not come in fresh daily, and that sometimes, it is possible to have produce go bad. The owner went on to accuse me of lying to get a free meal, and literally took everything I said and turned it upside down. If someone is so upset as to actually call the owner the next day, and take the time to write this whole situation out, would you tend to believe they were lying to get a free $20 pizza. It is also important to note that every individual living in this house has education above a bachelor's degree, and at the time of this review, are all employed in full time careers. I have talked to numerous people in the community about this episode and unsurprisingly, many had very similar experiences.”

• Everything Is Tip-Top Shape. We will return again.
• Nothing is wrong in our eyes.

“Dad and I ate there twice and were very happy with everything and everybody that works there. The service is great. The staff is great too, the food is also great. Clean and service is great. We will be back over again. Keep it up.”
