“The place is very nice but you have to be very careful with your money. We enjoyed our coffee there but when we paid we didn't get the change. (5) We thought that it had been a mistake but when we asked and we saw the waitress reaction we realized that she just wanted our money. We had never imagined that something like that could happen in such a beautiful and nice place. So if you go there, mind your change and don't trust the waitress!”

“I would like to say cocktail bar was a happening experience but everything else was cool.”

“My first impression was that of a cozy restaurant with a mouth-watering and reasonable priced menu. However, once inside one quickly discovers that cozy is not exactly the right word. This was due to the high noise level caused by several happy groups. The food served was ok although nothing to ponder about afterwards. The bottle of wine selected was of good quality level but not in relation to its extraordinary price. For a restaurant recommended especially for its wine selection the guidance provided by the sommelier of the day was lousy. The service could also be more friendly, professional and less oblivious. In total, although the atmosphere was friendly and the food ok, I cannot really recommend a visit to this restaurant. ”

“Menu has a great choice of dishes, some of which are excellent. Some curries and masalas are slightly adapted to European taste (a bit sweeter and creamier) but with intelligence. I recommend the paneer.”

“Excellent atmosphere. I took my lad to Berlin for his 18th and the whole idea of an Aussie restraint run by Germans, in Berlin appealed to us on a few levels. We weren't disappointed and were so pleased we made the effort to find it. A superb venue and quirky atmosphere, mixed grill was memorable. Will definitely go again.”

“Don't let the fact that the inside looks like "Julie's Pantry" of UK motorway service station fame put you off. The food is what you come here for (that and fast (but not rushed), friendly service). Anyone who enjoys good English food like hot pot, roast dinner or fish and chips, but wishes that English eateries would take more care over preparation and quality of ingredients, will love what they serve here. Good hearty food, made with love. I had a stuffed beef wrap rich gravy, spicy braised red cabbage and lovely fried potatoes. My mate had a roasted pork knuckle with rich pork gravy. No room for after! Saw a local demolishing an impossibly large portion of Eisbein (boiled pickled pig's knuckle served with sauerkraut, peace pudding and boiled potato) which looked utterly delicious. It will be my first port of call next time I'm in Berlin.”
