No, this is not Berlin zoo, although the menu looks rather like a zoological dictionary: kangaroo sirloin steak, ostrich fillet, shark steak and crocodile steak promise unusual culinary delights which will scare off vegetarians and animal lovers. Just take a seat under the strange kangaroo paintings and eat: with only 1 per cent fat content, you will be well on the way to getting a figure like Crocodile Dundee's. Starters range from EUR4-EUR9. Main dishes range from EUR9-EUR16.50. Crocodile steak with Cajun vegetables is EUR16.50. A bottle of Australian white wine starts at EUR15.

“Excellent atmosphere. I took my lad to Berlin for his 18th and the whole idea of an Aussie restraint run by Germans, in Berlin appealed to us on a few levels. We weren't disappointed and were so pleased we made the effort to find it. A superb venue and quirky atmosphere, mixed grill was memorable. Will definitely go again.”
