• Very friendly staff, coffee in room was excellent.
• Small bathroom.

“Could have used Metro, but car with GPS was very convenient. Parking was safe and secure($19), and room/hall was quiet.”

• The hotel staff was very friendly.
• Our first room was infested with spiders so the staff quickly moved us to another room.

“It wasn't very easy to locate but once we found it we really liked the location. It was close to the main highway and shopping. Our room had several spiders in it so they quickly moved us to another room and gave us a complimentary breakfast buffet. I will probably not revisit this hotel and I travel to DC often.”

• It was really family friendly and the staff was excellent.
• The restaurant prices were little pricey for what it offered.

• Staff allowed me to check in before official check-in time.
• Not enough dining choices within walking distance.

“The hotel was clean, quiet and had a friendly staff. Internet access in the lobby was a bonus, as was the shuttle from Reagan National Airport. It was a very enjoyable stay.”

• Location to the metro.
• There were insects in the room.

“Basically it was an enjoyable stay except for the insects in the room and the morning we left the shuttle driver was very rude. We were told they started running to the airport at 5:00 am when we wanted to leave at 5:00 he said they didn't start until 5:30 and our plane left at 6:30. He took us and another couple to the airport but he made some derogatory remarks.”

• The sleep CD was the only thing and the bathroom  modern.
• Old with dated furniture and drapes -old ugly furniture.

“The bathroom was the only modern thing in the room and the CD player. The furniture was old, drab and ugly. I stayed out most of the time. If the bed and bedding was old too, I would have left to go to another hotel around the corner and just forgot about the security deposit just to stay in a modern room!”

• Excellent location, walking distance to the metro in dc.
• I liked everything!

• Close to where I was going and very friendly staff. Plus I like the shower. Big thing for me.
• I was given a key for someone else's room and the room didn't have a double bed.

• Great room. Upgraded upon arrival to a suite. Great location.
• Can't think of anything.

“This is the first time we stayed at a Crowne Plaza Hotel. Much nicer than any other hotel we have stayed in Crystal City. The place was clean and friendly. Upon our arrival, we were upgraded to a suite. Not bad for the price we paid. Loved it! Would stay there again anytime.”

• It was very convenient distance wise for the business that we did in Arlington. I highly recommend Crowne Plaza Hotel to my Filipino friends.
• None that I know of.

“Crowne Plaza Hotel should be rated a 4 star hotel. The staff were friendly and accommodating. It was spotless clean and everything fitted to what we expected of a 3 star hotel. I will strongly, highly recommend the hotel to my Filipino friends who will be having business in Arlington, Washington DC More power to Crowne Plaza Hotel.”

• I loved the bathroom space, and the beds were extremely comfortable.
• The I had to evacuate the hotel at 4 am due to a fire alarm.

• The location! It was right in the middle of everywhere I need to go.
• It did not offer a complimentary breakfast and my location of room.

“Paid for room on 5-7-06. Called hotel on 5-19 -06 to let them know my flight arrived after midnight. Was assured no problem. When I got to the hotel they had no rooms. I expect a full refund immediately. Will be back from my vacation on 6-2-06.”

• My room was extremely clean.
• Food/Beverage closed before 10:30 PM.

“Hotel was very clean. One concierge was very helpful. Ad in elevator said dining/lounge was open 'till 11. It was closed when I got there at 10:30. Concierge on duty couldn't explain nor offer any other places that I could grab a late dinner. Aggravation continued when I found that vending machines on two floors were inoperable. Hotel is OK for business traveler needing place near airport with few amenities.”

• The king size bed was luxurious. The bedding is very comfortable.
• The bathrooms are tiny.

“My hotel stay was fabulous. The room was very clean and comfortable. The down comforter and pillows were luxurious. Definitely an outstanding value for the dollar. I highly recommend it.”

“Beds were GREAT, but rest of hotel was only average. Was billed for stay by hotel and promised it wouldn't show up...still waiting to see how that works out. Not impressed.”

• Desk staff was very helpful, recommending restaurants and tours.

“Excellent staff and room. Small gym. Good restaurant. Close (one block) to Metro/subway. Near pentagon so there were many clean cut guests in camouflage and uniforms.”

“This hotel was not par for the Arlington area. Staff was disinterested and not well trained. Staff service (room service, airport shuttles) were late or non-existent. Several phone calls were required to get hotel staff to deliver services. The gym was terrible.”

“I was very disappointed with the staff. We arrived at 12:00am and they had no record of our reservation. I had called one week earlier to assure a smoke free room so I knew we were in their system. They had us wait 45 minutes to get a room because they couldn't find us on their computer. All this time they never made eye contact with me, never said a word to me, and never apologized for the wait. Even the manager came out to work on this.”
