• Ample parking, ease of going in/out as much as we pleased.
• None, very pleasant experience.

“Check in was painless, front desk personnel were friendly, and our room was well prepared when we arrived. Self parking for $8/day (charged to your bill) on the 3rd level in the adjacent parking garage was very convenient; no attendant/gate was present, so traveling in and out to see the city whenever and as many times as we wanted was very easy. Made to order breakfast was nice, but somewhat crowded at 9am (go earlier) and many choices were available. Our water pressure was very strong and the hot water was a quick draw and stayed constant. Our bed was very comfortable and the view of.”

• The hotel's proximity to Town Lake is a definite "plus".
• I would prefer an outdoor pool.

“The location and services provided by Embassy Suites Town Lake are excellent. Austin is a difficult city to find parking, but the hotel provides an adjacent parking garage so that there are no parking worries. The hotel's proximity to Town Lake and its activities, to downtown and South Congress make it an excellent venue.”

• I liked how big the suite was.
• That the garage was not attached to the building.

“Overall the hotel was nice. Just the garage not being attached or at least a walkway from the garage to the hotel would have been nice. You had to walk around to the side or the front of the hotel to enter. That was a pain.”

• The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly.

“The hotel location was far from our conference, but transportation was provided. The breakfast provided at this hotel is highly recommended. Breakfast is made to your specifications (i.e. eggs, pancakes, etc.). Try it out sometime.”

• The hotel staff took us to the convention center at a moment's notice, were very courteous about it, and did not hesitate to get the van out!

“The hotel is at least 7 probably 8 blocks from the convention center. The transport staff was excellent. the rooms were wonderful. The breakfast buffet was absolutely fantastic!”

• It was just a really nice hotel. The room was great for only $94.
• They need to update. The rooms looked like they were from the late 80s.

• The breakfast and happy hour staff were very friendly.
• I was placed in a smoking room. Neither me or my companion smoke. When asked to change rooms we were told there was nothing they could do.

“It was in a good location to the Town Lake Trail which was important to me as I am an avid runner. Needless to say, I do not smoke and was very disapointed to be placed in a smoking room, it smelled heavily of cigarettes and the smoke from the room next door wafted through the vents. I noticed the problem as soon as I entered the room and called the front desk to see if we could get a non-smoking room. Joseph the attendant at the front desk was very rude and said that I had requested a smoking room (which I had not) and there was nothing he would do. I was taken aback as it was a Monday night with no special events taking place and he flt out refused to accomodate us. ”

• Location for New Year's perfect, security on the ball! Nice view of the city.
• Pool and hot tub area small, smelly and crowded.

“Front desk staff were very helpful. Free parking was a fabulous perk. Free breakfast buffet was nice but not great. Accommodations were nice and clean with lovely view of city. Location to Sixth Street entertainment good. Need to connect their parking to the building, not the safest feeling. The bed arrangement was lovely. They need to carry some basic cable channels on their TV. network such as the Weather Channel. Need air flow in the bathroom or at least a fan. Living area furniture had a bit of a funk smell. Considering that it was a holiday, I think the overall stay was very good.”

“Was amazed that a 2 hour happy hours and cook to order breakfast and shuttle service was included! Very nice experience and my guest was thoroughly entertained. ”
