• The view, pool, and the breakfast was excellent.
• The parking situation. Have to park in a multilevel garage separate from the hotel and pay $10 a day.

“Very nice, a little overpriced though, especially when you have to pay for your own parking. But overall, had a great time with my family and the service was very good.”

• Beachfront.
• Terrible service.

“Terrible location, terrible service, the staff is unfriendly at best, intimidating at worst. The property is half abandoned, not well maintained and currently does not offer any sort of restaurant or room service. Closest restaurants in a reasonable budget are all fast food.”

• Rooms very clean, nice pool and beach, great view grounds well manicured.

“We stayed at the hotel for 3 days prior to going on a cruise. The hotel met or exceeded our expectations. The only issue we had was finding the hotel. Our flight was late,it was raining and the rental car company did not give us good directions. With good directions it is not at all difficult to find. We plan on returning to San Juan and we definitely stay at the Hyatt.”

• It was wonderful.
• I didn't like how the guard treated us. He was always on his cell phone. He didn't know what was going on.

• The beach was pretty.
• Our room smelt.

“Our room smelt of damp and mold. We were told to keep the air conditioning set on 70 degrees so we chose to freeze rather than suffer the smell. The adjacent hotel has been closed for years and is shielded from the beach by an old chain link fence.”

• Full breakfast. Happy hour. Nice decoration. Lots of activities.
• Parking.

• Facilities with pool and beach were excellent, and staff very friendly.
• Night dining was not great. Not much of a selection on menu.

• Clean and spacious, available beach and golf course.
• Too noisy especially during sleeping hours.

“Overall the hotel was excellent however loud music and event in the central open area of the hotel creates a very loud and noisy atmosphere through out the night during sleeping hours.”

• Nice grounds.
• Small rooms, unclean, broken pool.

“The rooms are very small. The River Pool was broken when we were there. The hallways smelled like raw sewage.”

• I loved everything about this beautiful hotel, so sad they are closing.
• I don't like that they are closing it.

“I absolutely loved this hotel.... I was looking forward to visiting every year--only to find out they are closing it at the end of May. How sad!! What a beautiful hotel, even though the grounds are spread out, we were happily picked up with a golf cart when my mother couldn't walk---We found the staff to be very nice and pleasant--and the grounds beautiful. I hope one day soon they will reopen and we can revisit!”

• The Beach, the pools, the room, the views... this resort is a little piece of paradise.
• Resort Fees. These fees are in addition to the Taxes and fees that you pay at the moment of making a reservation.

“This Resort is one of the best ones in the north shore of the Island. It is relatively close to the Metropolitan Area (San Juan) and the International Airport Luis Munoz Marin (SJU). It is very safe and the resort staff is very friendly, contributing to a complete relax and peaceful experience. The at least 2 miles long beach and the Pools are calm and not crowded. We loved the crystal clear and warm water at the beach. I will stay again on this resort. The only thing to beware is the additional resort fees which at not included at the moment of reservation; this was additional $15 per night for us.”

• directions on hotel web site were incorrect, taking us 20 miles out of our way. I advised front desk

“We loved this resort. Staff friendly, helpful, and seemed to loved their jobs. Room was beautiful, w/ 2 full sized 4 poster beds. Ocean was less than 50 feet away with excellent beach. Beach chairs and hammocks were right outside door. Resort grounds were immaculate.”
