“Hotel is in a central position so you don't need a car. Plenty of fresh towells and room cleaned every day. Breakfast choice was excellent something to suit every taste. Will be booking again.”

“Very pleased with hotel room tastefully decorated. Have stayed in a hotel previously down the road no comparison this was far better. Clean, cosy, stayed in April, room fully heated with ample tea and coffee to drink. Breakfast set us up for the day, owner very cheerful in the mornings service excellent. Would reccommend this hotel, only thing to be aware of, they don't do evening meals but Plymouth is full of places to eat.”

“My fault - but I should have checked if they had a lift and,if not, I would have made sure we were on the first floor if possible. Otherwise everything you showed on-line was great.”

“The hotel was conveniently situated for the town centre. It was very clean and tidy and the staff were always available, friendly and helpful. The room was very pleasant and there were the essentials provided. We especially enjoyed the tea and coffee facilities which were unlimited and not the usual two teabags, also the cups were nice and big! There were nice towels provided and the room was cleaned every day. A very pleasant stay indeed, the best hotel we have stayed in in Plymouth.”

“Good position for ferry port and shops/restaurants. Very useful parking arrangement with Plymouth City Council. Prefers cheques to plastic.”

“The hotel was clean and quiet and the staff was both helpful and non-intrusive. My room was large and so was the bed, but the mattress was not terribly comfortable. The room was nicely decorated and plenty of blankets and towels were provided. A larger soap and shampoo would have been appreciated. The hours for breakfast were very narrow. I cannot review the breakfast because I left early on my get away day and missed breakfast after my first night.”

“Where the car parking was. A detailed map, we got lost in the one way system.”

“No meals other than breakfast and no lounge to sit in.
Their own details describe ample parking but this is all on-road and I spent more than ten minutes driving around before finding a space at 10pm. The space I found was a five minute walk away.
Proximity to the Hoe (two-three minutes walk) was wonderful and we enjoyed walking there a couple of times. The town centre was a longer walk away - probably ten to fifteen minutes.”
