• Clean comfortable rooms
• Poor customer service

“The rooms where quiet, clean and comfortable, the staff however was horrible. Nothing seemed to run effortlessly and the problems we encountered were not dealt with in a professional manner. No one smiles, no one says hello, no one goes out of their way to do anything to accomodate the guests, its actually laughable. The computer in the room was having difficulties when I called the front desk they told me they would deal with it, however 12 hours later (I ordered 24) the internet was no longer just malfunctioning it just stopped working. I had to call the front desk again to see what they were doing, they hadn't done anything. They hadn't fixed the problem, or communicated with me in anyway as to what was going on, they lacked any care to customer service. The television must have had its speakers blown, so trying to listen to the tv was virtually impossible. The gym is in a dungeon and obviously never used, the equipment wasn't even turned on I had to go to the front desk to see what the problem was, the response was to walk away from me without saying anything. After waiting for a bit, the other fellow at front desk told me I'd better go downstairs as his collegue was on his way. Bizarre way to handle things. Every time we called asking questions about the area or activities they insisted that we had to come downstairs and wouldn't just answer the simple questions over the phone. We went to the restaurant one evening to have a coffee outside, once we found the waiter we ordered our coffees and he turned and walked away (same bizarre response) we decided we would just wait for him rather than finding a spot outside. Once he returned we told him we wanted to sit outside, and proceeded to tell us off for making him run around, we tried to joke with him about how we were sorry I guess we're giving him his daily workout and he was just not amused. “I had a great stay at the Montebello! The hotel is completely refurnished, the lobby is cozy with original piecies of antiques. My room was very nice and comfortable full of amenities like LCD TV with Internet browser. The staff was very kind and professional during our 3 nights stay, expecially at the restaurant. Food was excellent and not expensive at all for a 5 stars hotel! From the hotel you can reach the most important spot of the town in 10 minutes walk. I reccomend this hotel to anyone”
