“Clean, well-maintained hotel, with fresh fragrant air handling. Restaurant reportedly very good, though we did not have a chance to utilize it. Hotel seems to be family friendly with a number of young couples and young children sighted. Though we did not use the pool, we did not encounter any ill behavior.”

“ This is a beautiful hotel on the river walk in San Antonio TX. Unfortunately, the staff was useless. It took more than 45 minutes to check in on the first day. Hallways frequently had food trays on floor for more than 24 hours. Ordered a twin double room, got a single king, did not get a roll-away bed until 10:30 pm after being told it would be sent to the room at 5:00 pm. Requested access to a small meeting room at 7:30 am, at 4:30 pm found that they had forgotten my request, but would let me have an office suite, of course this was 30 minutes before our scheduled meeting. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. ”

“The front desk was not staffed properly for the holiday weekend when we stayed. For a 4-star hotel, I'd expect attention to detail. Also, I was surprised our beds were not turned down in the evening.”

“Beautiful hotel right on the River walk. The staff was very helpful and friendly, especially the bellmen and the valet services. The room was very spacious, clean and the complimentary toiletries were very nice, as was the big LCD TV.”

“All in all it was good. But for a Westin Property I didn't expect to have to deal with the massive partying that was going on till 4 am. Couldn't sleep and had a very long trip home the next day. Felt like I was staying at a Holiday Inn or something more along those lines.”

“Excellent location but lacked parking for the hotel. Easy and relatively cheap ($15) for overnight parking across the street. If you plan on leaving the car and not going in and out all day, best to use the parking deck and not the $30 charged by the hotel for valet. Very crowded during check in and check out no matter what time of day - they clearly need more staff downstairs to assist guests. Wait to check in was approximately 45 minutes. Overall, I would certainly stay at this hotel again based on the convenience of its location and the comfort level of the room.”

“The hotel Westin on the Riverwalk was great. The staff was over the top helpful and more than kind. Loved everything about this hotel and staff. My wife and I will try to stay at the Westin at all cost every time.”

“This hotel is very nice. Closely located (easy walking distance) to the Riverwalk. Valet packing in and out as many times as needed no extra charge. The staff was great and facility was very clean.”

“The entire experience was excellent. The only problem we encountered was on the day after Thanksgiving. No one at the hotel told us that the valet parking spots would be rented out to the public for the Riverwalk parade. Our car was finally parked at 0430 the next morning, and we were the very last car allowed to drop off our car.”

“The hotel was beautifully decorated and the room was definitely luxurious. The staff was extremely helpful and the checkin was the quickest I have ever experienced. The balcony afforded no privacy as the balconies below were over sized and you could see and hear the people on the floor below when they were outside on their balcony.”

“The hotel is gorgeous and the staff was friendly and helpful. The food was mediocre and not worth the cost especially for room service. My room was large, very comfortable and had a small deck overlooking the River Walk the view was not very pretty as it looked across to a parking garage and office building, but the room itself was great.”

“I can't recommend this hotel. The staff in unfriendly and the service is mediocre. You are paying hotel prices and getting motel service. The staff is unapologetic when they make mistakes, and they are all constantly chatting with each other putting the client second. Never would I go back there again. Try Contessa next door, for good service. Try the Menger hotel brunch, best meal you'll have in San Antonio.”
